The State Department has said that they need a public outcry in order to end the atrocities in Congo.  With 5.4 million Congolese dead as of January 2008, it is high time to treat Congo as the emergency it is!
A few women will spend the week of December 6th outside the State Department in Washington DC.  Asking to be heard.  This will only work if others get involved.  We are the public outcry!  Make the time NOW!!!!!  45,000 die every month.  We cant wait any longer.  If Wren has touched your life take a moment to act in her name. Act on the behalf of the 1,500 that die every day.
Here’s what you can do:
1.  Take AT LEAST 5 photos of yourself holding a sign, each one differently messaged.  Get your family members and friends to do the same.  Have each person upload their photos to the Outcry for Congo Facebook Group while we are outside of the State Department December 6-10.  Not on Facebook?  Email your photos to Outcry for Congo.
2. For those willing to lead, pledge to enroll 5, 10, 15, 20 of your family, friends and colleagues!
3. Start posting photos from 6 AM on MONDAY, DEC. 6th to 11:59 PM FRIDAY, DEC. 10th.
